Legend vs. character in Shakespeare's play

  1.
    1. The properties under "Portrayed in films" don't belong here, but to this topic instead: http://www.freebase.com/view/guid/9202a8c04000641f800000000460b133

And it confuses me that Captain Kirk is listed under "Representations In Fiction"...what, as Hamlet?

      1. I agree; feel free to change the links to the correct topic.

Re Kirk, it looks like someone has asserted that Kirk is "based on" both Hamlet and Horatio Hornblower, which is not what the property's for. We might have to change the name to make it clearer though, since the character of Cap'n Kirk is arguably based on that of Hornblower.

      2. OK, I've removed some of the types that don't belong here, the Captain Kirk reference and the "portrayed in films" properties. Instead, I've added all 7 film adaptations of Hamlet that I can find to the Prince Hamlet character topic, where they belong.
