Hi and thanks for the welcome. For a long time I really didn't "get" freebase but recently I became enlightened. I'm really interested in social content as well as game content and how it can map onto Freebase.
There are a number of websites that have huge datasets dedicated to content from the World of Warcraft game. They cover things like items, questions, areas/regions, lore, etc. I think there is huge potential to use Freebase to map relationships between those things in very simple ways.
I'd also really love to explore how virtual identities on websites like Facebook, Twitter, etc can map onto true identities managed on Freebase. -
My friend librarianavenger's been working on a domain for Second Life (http://www.freebase.com/view/user/librarianavenger/second_life) -- perhaps you might want to swap notes and share ideas? I think a WoW domain is a great idea. If you'd like some help setting it up, modeling data, etc, I'd be happy to help.
