Andy Breckman (born March 3, 1955 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is the creator and executive producer of the television series Monk, on the USA Network. He grew up in Haddonfield, New Jersey and he attended Haddonfield Memorial High School. He was previously a member of the writing staff of Saturday Night Live and Late Night With David Letterman.
