Aneel Bhusri is Workday's co-founder and President, responsible for the company's overall strategy and day-to-day operations. He joined Greylock in 1999 from PeopleSoft, where from 1999 to 2004, he served as Vice Chairman of the Board at
PeopleSoft. From 1993 to 1999, Aneel held a number of senior leadership
positions at PeopleSoft, including senior vice president in charge of
product strategy, business development, and marketing.
At PeopleSoft, he was responsible for developing and guiding all
product strategy, corporate and product marketing. He also led the
company's business development efforts in key areas such as new product
development, vertical market initiatives and corporate expansion. Prior
to PeopleSoft, Aneel held positions in both venture capital and
corporate finance.
He holds an MBA from Stanford University and a bachelor of science
and arts in electrical engineering and economics from Brown University.
Aneel currently serves on the Boards of
Cape Clear,
Data Domain,
Symphoniq,
Data Robotics, and
Workday. In addition to PeopleSoft, Aneel formerly served on the boards of
