Comerica Park is an open air ballpark located in downtown Detroit, Michigan. It serves as the home of the Detroit Tigers of Major League Baseball's American League, replacing historic Tiger Stadium in 2000. Comerica Park is located next door to Ford Field, the home of the Detroit Lions. The park is named after a corporate sponsor, Comerica Bank, which was based in Detroit at the time the park opened, and which paid for the naming rights. Comerica has since moved to Dallas, Texas.
