Dijjer is a peer-to-peer web cache. It is "pure" P2P because it relies on the computers of those using it, and is almost completely decentralized. Dijjer is similar in concept to BitTorrent but does not rely on a tracker or on a download client. It is also similar to Freenet both in that every participant in the network caches content on their disks, and in that it features a local web interface (listening on port 9115) that displays open connections and active downloads.
