Mikael Salomon (born February 24, 1945 in Copenhagen, Denmark) is a Danish filmmaker, Oscar-nominated as cinematographer of The Abyss (1989) and Backdraft (1991), Emmy Award-winner as director of Band of Brothers (2001).
