Preshil, or The Margaret Lyttle Memorial School, is an independent, co-educational, non-denominational, alternative day school, located in Kew, an eastern suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Founded in the early 1930s by Margaret J. R. Lyttle, Preshil is based upon alternative education principles similar to Summerhill School in England, although, unlike Summerhill, classes are now compulsory and held at fixed times.
