Ric Ocasek (born Richard Otcasek on March 23, 1949) is an American musician and music producer. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He is the former vocalist and frontman for The Cars. He has been a producer for several other groups including Weezer, Bad Brains, No Doubt, Guided by Voices, and Suicide.
