Richard “Ribbs” Gibbs (born in 1955 in Bay Village, Ohio) is an American film composer and music producer, most notable for his film work in Dr. Dolittle, Big Momma's House, The Book of Stars, Queen of the Damned and television work in the Battlestar Galactica re-imaged series.
