Mechanicsville is a neighborhood in Knoxville, Tennessee. Historically, the name refers to the oldest portion of the neighborhood nearest downtown Knoxville (often now differentiated as "Old Mechanicsville"), which is the portion of the neighborhood listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a historic district. "New Mechanicsville" lies slightly to the north.
