Hurd (Mongolian: Хурд/khurd, "speed") is a Mongolian heavy metal band. Their music, which often features nationalist themes, is especially popular with people in rural areas, as well as Mongolian migrant workers in South Korea. Their music employs pentatonic scales and Mongolian traditional melody types.
