Lhengye Zhungtshog is a Dzongkha term. In English it means Council of Ministers. The Lhengye Zhungtshog is the highest executive body in Bhutan. It was created in 1999 under the 4th king of Bhutan. Presently, the council has 10 members who are termed as lyonpos and wear a ceremonial orange scarf.
