Jeffrey N. Agar is an assistant professor of chemistry at Brandeis University. Agar's specialties are bioinorganic chemistry, namely iron-sulfur clusters in metalloproteins, and mass spectrometry. He currently focuses on high-resolution mass spectrometry of post-translational modifications in proteins, trying to better understand neurodegenerative diseases, especially ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease).
